The GFARC is very happy to share World First Aid Day 2021’s concept note as well as the toolkit into the 4 official languages. WFAD this year will take place on Saturday 11th September 2021 with the theme Be a hero at your school and in the community. It will offer activities and programs either if you are planning digital-only campaign or on-site activities or maybe both. The concept note includes case studies and will allow you to choose different types of activities. As for the toolkit it is as follows:
- Advocacy Paper : First aid at school Download
- Comics – Children and First aid by Dr. Tamer Ahmad :
- Beary Story and missing word + explanations Download
- Beary Covid-19 Prevention poster Download
- Activity Worksheets for teachers and educators :
A HUGE THANK goes to Dr. Tamer Ahmad, Elke Weyenbergh (Belgian Red Cross, Flanders), Olivier Jamann (Daredevil Beary), Željko Malič (Slovenian Red Cross), and our volunteer translators for contributing to this toolkit !
We can’t wait to know what your National Society is planning as activities for WFAD 2021.
