World First Aid Day Concept Note 2022 !

May 20, 2022

 Lifelong First aid learning

SAVE THE DATE and be prepared on Saturday 10th of September 2022!

World First Aid Day is the main event of the IFRC Global First Aid Reference Centre. This is an opportunity to highlight first aid and to make awareness campaigns mobilizing both the general public and volunteers.

This year, we are putting forward the importance of having a lifelong First Aid learning. No matter the age, having first aid skills and knowledge helps creating safer and healthier communities. Children, adults, or older adults should be able to have a quality first aid education.  A lifelong commitment to learning and providing first aid is what makes us more resilient. Get prepared to celebrate and send us your plans for activities!

You can find the concept note available in 4 languages to understand more about the theme of the day and prepare for your celebration. The document includes data, facts, figure and details on the communication pack as well as the calendar for preparation.

The Global First Aid Reference Centre will provide you soon with tools, which can be used during an on-ground event or digital/online ones.  We would also love to know if your National Society will plan any activities for World First Aid Day 2022!
