Iranian Red Crescent’s latest updates on Basic Life Support

The latest updates on Basic Life Support according to the International First Aid, Resuscitation and Education Guidelines 2020 were organized in Journal Club format for Iranian Red Crescent’s First Aid Instructors at the national level.

The goal of the Journal Club sessions in the Public Training division of the National Society is to increase and update the knowledge, skills, and scientific capacity of the First Aid Instructors and also to risk preparedness. Being involved with the newest scientific findings, and upgrading the skills of critical and evidence-based evaluation of articles, are the main goals of Journal Clubs sessions.

In the 2nd edition of this Journal Club sessions, the latest international changes and updates on Basic Life Support according to the IFRC International First Aid, Resuscitation and Education Guidelines 2020 were presented to the Instructors. 747 persons participated directly, and more than 3800 persons participated indirectly by watching the recorded video of the session, using provided materials, passing the final exam, and receiving the certificate.
