March 30, 2023

The Romanian Red Cross has recently embarked on a new project aimed at developing their first aid education strategy throughout Romania. With the goal of updating their first aid training curriculum, representatives from the Romanian Red Cross visited the French Red Cross and the Global First Aid Reference Centre to collaborate with experts in the field.

The project, which began a few months ago, is still in the process of development, and the Romanian Red Cross is eager to work closely with the Global First Aid Reference Centre to gain valuable insights into the best practices and techniques for teaching first aid. With the ultimate goal of saving lives in Romania, the visit aimed to introduce the Romanian Red Cross to the French Red Cross staff working on the project, as well as staff from the education department at the national level.

During the visit, the Romanian Red Cross had the opportunity to observe trainings for both the general public and trainers using different pedagogical tools. This provided a unique opportunity to learn about different teaching methods and techniques that could be incorporated into the new first aid curriculum.

Additionally, discussions during the visit centered on the Universal First Aid Application and the commercial first aid file. By exchanging ideas and information, the Romanian Red Cross hopes to update their curriculum to be not only effective but also accessible to as many people as possible.

The Romanian Red Cross is committed to improving first aid education in Romania, and this project is an important step towards achieving that goal. By collaborating with experts and sharing knowledge and best practices, the Romanian Red Cross will have a strong first aid strategy .

Stay tuned for updates on the progress of this important project. With the dedication and expertise of the Romanian Red Cross and their partners, the future of first aid education in Romania looks promising.
