Technical guide on Commercial First Aid

After a much-awaited time, the Global first Aid reference centre (GFARC) shares its new resource of a technical guide on commercial First Aid.

You don’t know how obtain financial sustainability in your National Society? Are you looking for something that will give you the basics on how to launch your commercial first aid training? Do you need a reference to the type of accidents that happens in the workplace and what first aid steps to be provided?

Then this  guide is made for YOU! It consists of two different and complementary parts that will help you upgrade your plan for your commercial first aid program in order to obtain financial sustainability in your National Society. The first part includes an identification of workplace risks linked to the enterprise activity that would cause injuries or illnesses to employees. The second part is a marketing framework giving National Societies tools to capture customers and thus ensure the development of a viable and profitable system.  This good practices guide aims at providing advice and recommendations to national societies and regional offices of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent societies (IFRC). It takes into account of the existence of different contexts in countries and identifies the common dangers and adapted practices.
