Diffusion of VR/AR first aid training for the wide use of the general public

University of Manchester, Iva Dulkova. Includes interviews from ICRC, Dr Pascal CASSAN (GFARC). The following dissertation focuses on assessing the diffusion and adoption of VR and AR technologies with specific focus on their application for first aid training purposes. The study examines a number of established diffusion models, as well as important factors discovered in previous literature concerning the successful adoption of new VR/AR technologies. The study then combines primary and secondary research to validate some of the hypotheses and theories in the literature review and reaches to some new conclusions that have not been considered in past research.
