Launch of the New First Aid Application

The First Aid App provides easy-to-understand information about identifying and responding to a range of everyday first aid scenarios, such as bleeding,

heart attacks, choking, unresponsiveness and burns.  The app also provides the possibility to identify an ongoing emergency, guides the user through life-saving steps, and has an EMS call button when needed.  The cross-border feature notifies travelers of pertinent emergency information when abroad.

Red Cross and Red Crescent National Societies will be able to customize the app according to their own needs and based on their local languages.
