International Expert Group on First Aid Annual Meeting

The International Expert Group on First Aid carries out its activities on behalf of the National Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies of Eastern Europe, Central Asia and the Southern Caucasus in close cooperation with and with the support of the ICRC and the IFRC. In accordance with the Regulation “On the International Expert Group on First Aid” dated 05.07.2018 (Almaty, Kazakhstan), the main objective of the IEG is to develop, refine and unify the provision of first aid in the region in accordance with international standards, in cooperation with the components of the International RC/RC Movement. The Annual General Meeting is the main coordinating body of the Expert Group and the previous meetings were held in Moscow (2017), Almaty (2018), Tbilisi (2019), Poltava (2021) and Samarkand (2022)
