
Online Practical Guidance for Red Cross and Red Crescent on Health and Care for Migrants
This practical guidance is intended to be a resource for National Societies seeking to implement or enhance healthcare for migrants. The format and content are designed to be practically useful for staff and volunteers working on the ground with migrants, while complying with the IFRC’s ‘Operational framework for involvement in migrant healthcare services’.
This guide comprises an introductory section on practice essentials, followed by eight chapters covering the major healthcare domains (i.e., noncommunicable diseases, communicable diseases, sexual and reproductive health, mental health and psychosocial support, child health, older person health, and first aid).
