Guidelines task force
The Guidelines is an international publication made in collaboration with Red Cross Red Crescent Societies first aid specialists and different task-forces.
About us
This voluntary work is coordinated by the Global First Aid Reference Centre and a dedicated steering committee. The team warmly thanks and values all these important contributions, as a result of a collective effort.
2025 Guidelines project to be commencing soon!
The overall role of the Steering Committee is to provide leadership to the project by representing their respective portfolio’s interests, as well as the overall needs of the International first aid, resuscitation, and education guidelines 2020 project. The Steering Committee meets virtually every other month, as well as any opportunity where the members will be face-to-face.
Key responsibilities

Provide vision and direction to the project.

Secure funding from various sources for the project, including National Societies.

Represent the project to key partners and stakeholders as required by the project.

Validate the content throughout the process.

Approve key project documentation, including the Project Charter, Scope, Roles, and Schedule.
Specific topics are included and have been done with the International Committee of the Red Cross, the Global Disaster Preparedness Centre and the Reference Centre for Psychosocial Support.
