Development of Virtual Patient Simulations in First Aid Training
The IFRC Global First Aid Reference Centre is partnering up with Body Interact – Virtual Patient Simulator – in order to see how National Societies can benefit from practicing with Virtual Patients in first aid training.
Body Interact was developed as a learning platform for the teaching and training of current and future Paramedics, Nurses and Doctors however the simulator can deliver an immersive experience for First Aid Training.
The aim of this call of interest is to engage with the National Societies to actively participate in the development of First Aid Training using Virtual Patient simulations, that follow the IFRC Global First Aid Reference Centre – First Aid guideline for 2020.
Why is it a good opportunity for you ?
The opportunity for National Societies is to develop Virtual Patient training that can be delivered in either a classroom setting or online, where IFRC or National Society Certified Training courses can be purchased by customers globally and under a shared income model between Body Interact and the National Society.
